The core of Sissel Edelbo is up-cycling of vintage silk-mix saris and a love for indian culture. Buying the clothes is supporting a sustainable, vibrant future for the fashion industry and the world. Each piece tells the story of the indian heritage and the amazing women, all dressed in their traditional vibrant silk sarees.
Sissel Edelbo mix print and mystery with a simple nordic cut, so their customers can choose sustainable clothes and enable the story of the saris to continue.
All of the styles are made of cleaned up-cycled sarees, and they put lots of love in every single style.
Sissel Edelbo is made by Jeanne Sissel Thomsen and Christina Edelbo Petersen. Since 2004 they have traveled to India and handpicked silk-mix saris for their sustainable collections. The silk saris are all unique and different in both weaving and quality.
